The Grand May Fair is a splendid day-long wedding showcase, marrying (!) eager and recently engaged couples with the very finest Hudson Valley vendors to create an extraordinary wedding exposition. Throughout the day, hundreds of invited couples will have the opportunity to engage with hand-selected partners to find their perfect vendor team for their wedding. As vendors, this is the perfect setting against which to showcase your very finest products and services. From catering to photography, planning, florals, desserts, games and furnitures, lighting, activity organizers, and more—couples will be encouraged to curate their wedding vendor team from amongst our showcase partners.

Is it an Expo?
True to its name, it is an exposition. But this is not your standard expo marketplace with rows of booths vying for leads. The Grand May Fair is an immersive wedding affair, where vendor partners collaborate to create the wedding experience that our couples will walk through. Attending couples will be able to taste, test, and touch the magic of the very best of the Hudson Valley wedding merchants have to offer.
Is there a fee?
Nope! The May Fair is hosted in a collaborative spirit: we’re all going to work as a group and bring the best that we can. Each participating vendor will bring a little bit of their own magic, and together we will create something enchanting that is all the greater for it.
What will the experience be like?
For Couples, it will be like walking into a grand storybook wedding in a private Hudson valley of their very own. Each site will be a chapter unto itself: great tents with music, food and drinks to experience, stunning decorations and furnitures, and an enchanting setting in which it all unfolds.
WHAT VENDORS CAN PARTICIPATE?
If you're reading this, you've almost certainly been hand-selected by our team or one of our coveted partner-vendors. Congrats!
But, more specifically: virtually any and all vendors offering wedding industry services are invited to participate. From day-of wedding vendors like caterers, florists, bridal dressmakers, bakers, and film/photographers to jewelry, music, wellness, and beyond.
WHAT ARE THE TERMS FOR PARTICIPATION?
Vendors interested in participating can sign up above + book a tour to go over logistics and details. Once participation is confirmed, we then get to work setting our vendor partners up for success on the Estate. To curate this immersive experience, and working with individual vendors according to their vision, our team carefully pairs each vendor with a site or multiple sites and other vendors to showcase their abilities in the very best light we can offer.
No fees. No strings. No catches. That's all.
What kinds of services or activities can I showcase?
You tell us! We want to get creative with you. Floral design class? Stargazing course? Guided meditations and yoga? Fittings? From tastings to performances, we want to craft a magical and immersive experience with you that will show couples the endless spectacular possibilities of a Hudson Valley wedding. What do you have in mind?
All vendors are also required to offer prospective Couples a 10% discount on their services and products.
This 10% promotional discount must be honored: (1) for all Couples who book with them on the day of the event, and (2) for 30 days thereafter, if the Couple has already redeemed a discounted booking on the day of (e.g., with another vendor).
How do I sign up?
Fill out the form above to indicate your interest in participating and set up a date to come visit the Estate to explore the setting for your showcase. Participation in the Grand May Fair is first-come-first-serve.

The entire Fair is performed in a collaborative and non-zero-sum spirit. Each participating vendor is bringing their own brand of magic to create something spectacular together. There are no fees.
What can participating vendors expect to walk away with?
Eager leads. Spectacular media. Social campaigns for months.
All participating partners will have direct access to a large pooled funnel of recently-engaged couples ready to book their wedding vendor team. In addition to those leads, the May Fair will also serve as an elaborate and spectacular communal styled shoot promo. After the event, all participating vendors will be able to make use of jointly-produced media assets gathered over the day (including assets produced by a dedicated photo/film crew hosted by the Someplace Upstate team) and collaborate in shared cross-promotional campaigns (e.g., on tagged social media posts) through a network of all participating partners.
